Loeb Electric Wins AEP OHIO'S Sustained Excellence Award

Loeb Electric was recently honored with a Sustained Excellence Award from AEP Ohio, a utility subsidiary of American Electric Power, one of the largest electric utilities in the United States. Loeb Electric is a two-time winner of the award, which recognizes companies that demonstrate energy efficiency over multiple years. It is a testament to Loeb Electric's commitment and support of energy efficiency initiatives. And it brings to light a company culture where energy efficiency is a top priority.

The Energy Efficiency Awards event, which took place on April 19, 2017, honored 27 businesses, organizations and teachers throughout Ohio. Loeb Electric falls into a select group of only eight Ohio businesses that received the Sustained Excellence Award. Other companies receiving rewards for the year included Abercrombie & Fitch, The Kroger Co., Bridgestone APM, Dispatch Printing, Columbus Regional Airport Authority and others.

"We are honored to receive this award once again. It represents our ongoing commitment to market this program to Central Ohio businesses as a way to lower their energy bills," said Charles Loeb, president of Loeb Electric. "Our customers see triple savings in lower bills, lower maintenance costs, and a lower cost to upgrade. The savings can last for 20 years or more." Loeb Electric completed projects for White Castle, Ricart Auto, Wendy's, Abercrombie & Fitch and numerous other notable companies that helped garner the award.

Loeb Electric is committed to several energy efficiency initiatives. In addition to helping other companies preserve natural resources, Loeb Electric's GreenPath Program targets all areas of the business to eliminate potential resource-wasteful operations. The company has also encouraged many suppliers to seek RoHS certification for the manufacture of their products, while also helping manufacturers reduce packaging and other waste products that impact landfills.
